the pad by the machine causes all sides of the carpet fiber not only to be cleaned, but also to be
lifted and freed for vacuuming. Many systems over the years have tried using " bonnets" but unless
they are cotton or microfiber pads driven by an oscillating motion instead of a rotary motion, you are
not getting a deep cleaning. If for whatever reason extraction is needed we have that too.
